Safety Certificates Roadworthy Inspections

Athena Automatics in Tingalpa is an Approved Inspection Station and can issue Safety Certificates (formerly Roadworthy Certificates or RWC) for vehicles that pass the roadworthy assessment test.

You will need a Safety Certificate when a vehicle changes ownership, an interstate vehicle is being registered in Queensland or an unregistered vehicle is being register for road use.

A Roadworthy Inspection includes checking:

  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Steering
  • Body damage or rust
  • Lights
  • Windscreen
